IEP progress report generator for speech therapy
Baseline, current data, cue level and next step become a progress comment with a progress code. Written on this page — no login, nothing sent.
Your progress comment
Enter the goal and current data and the comment appears here, updating as you type.
Do not enter names or other identifying details. Check that the code and the sentences agree before it goes in the report.

In SLPDesk the baseline and session data are already recorded against each goal, so progress reports are drafted from them. See progress report examples by goal area.
Frequently asked questions
- What should an IEP progress report comment include?
- Four things, in order: where the student started (the baseline), where they are now at the level and support named in the goal, the conditions behind that data such as the cue level, and what happens next. Then a progress code that agrees with the sentences.
- How does the generator pick the progress code?
- From the numbers you enter. Goal met when the last three data points (or every point, if fewer) are at or above the target; sufficient progress on a gain of 10 or more percentage points over baseline; insufficient progress below that. It is a starting point: choose the code your district and IEP team would use.
- Is anything I type sent or stored?
- No. The comment is assembled in your browser and never leaves it. The generator does not ask for a name; the text says [Student]. Leave identifying details out and add them in your IEP software.
