Frequently asked questions

What is a PLAAFP?
The Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance statement in an IEP. For speech-language it describes what the student can do now, the data behind it, what still needs work, how that affects learning, and what the family sees.
What should the assessment data include?
Standardized scores with the test name, plus current probe or baseline data with dates. Goals are written from this baseline, so a measurable starting point here makes the goal's criterion defensible.
Is anything I type sent or stored?
No. The paragraph is assembled in your browser and never leaves it. The builder does not ask for a name; the text says [Student]. Leave identifying details out and add them in your IEP software.
