- During class my body may need to use the bathroom.
- Our class has a rule for how to ask: raise my hand or show the bathroom pass card.
- Only one student uses the pass at a time so the hallway stays calm.
- I walk quietly, go directly to the bathroom, wash my hands, and return quickly.
- If someone is already using the pass I wait at my seat and try again when they return.
- When I come back I hand the pass to the teacher or hang it on the hook.
- Following the pass rule helps everyone focus when they return to learning.
